Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ARDF (AI Resource Discovery Framework), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this service.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily access ARDF for personal or commercial use, subject to these restrictions:

• You must not modify or copy the materials
• You must not use the materials for any commercial purpose without a valid subscription
• You must not attempt to reverse engineer any software on ARDF
• You must not remove any copyright or proprietary notations
• You must not transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server

3. Account Registration

To use ARDF, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. API Usage and Rate Limits

Fair Use Policy

You agree to use ARDF's API within the limits of your subscription tier:

• Free Tier: 100 discoveries/month, 1 request/second
• Pro Tier: 5,000 discoveries/month, 10 requests/second
• Enterprise Tier: Unlimited discoveries, 100 requests/second

Prohibited Uses

You must not:

• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or usage restrictions
• Use the service to violate any laws or regulations
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data
• Resell or redistribute access to ARDF
• Use the service to transmit malware or malicious code
• Impersonate others or provide false information

5. API Publishing Terms

For Publishers

When publishing an API on ARDF, you represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the right to publish the API
• Your API does not infringe on any third-party rights
• Your API complies with all applicable laws
• You will maintain reasonable uptime and performance
• You will provide accurate pricing and documentation

Content Guidelines

Published APIs must not:

• Provide illegal services or content
• Promote hate speech, violence, or discrimination
• Violate privacy rights or data protection laws
• Contain malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Facilitate fraud, spam, or abuse

6. Payment Terms

Subscriptions

• All fees are in USD and charged monthly or annually
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
• No refunds for partial months of service
• Prices subject to change with 30 days notice

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds will be provided for the remainder of any subscription period.

7. Intellectual Property

ARDF and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by ARDF and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Content

You retain all rights to APIs and content you publish. By publishing on ARDF, you grant us a license to:

• Index and display your API information
• Generate semantic embeddings for discovery
• Show your API in search results
• Display usage statistics and analytics

8. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Accuracy or reliability of results
• Availability of third-party APIs
• Security of transmitted data

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall ARDF, its directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the service
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the service
• Any content obtained from the service
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ARDF from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from:

• Your use of and access to the service
• Your violation of any term of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party right
• Any APIs you publish on ARDF

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our service after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
